Our Specialities

Intraoral Camera
In a nutshell, an Intraoral camera is a small video camera that takes an X-ray of the outside of the gum or tooth. It is especially useful during dental restoration procedures. For example, if you were to have an amalgam tooth filling replaced with a composite resin filling.
We could use the intraoral camera to take "before and after" pictures and display the results simultaneously for you to see!
Instead of merely explaining to you what's happening inside your mouth, we can actually show you. And, unlike conventional X-ray images that require processing time, there is no development time associated with intraoral cameras: The immediately available images that this tool renders can be a great time-saver for both you and us.

Microscopic Dentistry
Dr. Praveen John is one of a small percentage of Endodontists in India who uses Microscope to ensure the greatest precision when providing your care.

Microscopic dentistry enhances our ability to effectively clean the root canal and protect it from future decay or infection.
Using a microscope leads to longer vitality of the treated tooth, maximal consideration and preciseness in all performed procedures.
By locating and treating even the smallest signs of tooth decay or dental injury, patient treatments become more efficient and patients experience reduced risks of developing larger dental problems down the line.
Optimal vision with unprecedented magnification with precision which not only helps us to treat you better but also helps us educate you better.

Digital X-Ray
We have the knowledge and equipment needed to give us a proper picture of your mouth for further treatment.
Digital x-rays are quickly becoming adopted by a large percentage of the dental industry. A digital x-ray allows the dentist to take an image of the tooth or teeth and put it into an imaging program. Within this imaging program, there are a number of tools that will allow the dentist to take a very close look at the teeth and surrounding structures with amazing accuracy.
As a benefit to the patient, the digital x-ray also provides nearly 80% less radiation than a standard x-ray. This is due to the fact that the digital version of the x-ray is much more sensitive to this radiation and has been specifically designed with the patient in mind.

There are even more benefits of digital x-rays. Consider the following:
Digital x-rays can be viewed on-screen
Digital x-ray images can often be corrected if necessary without making another x-ray exposure
Digital x-rays are environmentally friendly as well
Digit x-Rays are stored for lifetime
All of these benefits are great reasons why Crown Dental Clinic uses digital x-rays today. We want quicker and more accurate treatments for our patients, and we know you want the same.

Safe Dentistry
When getting dental work done, we may use a dental dam for safety.
While operating on any other body part, surgeons use surgical drapes to isolate the area being treated and to prevent bacterial contamination. Likewise, dentists use a dental dam for endodontic procedures to isolate and protect.
Your dentist will put a dental dam, or thin square of latex rubber, over your mouth and will use small clamps along the edge of your gums to hold it in place during an endodontic treatment. If you are sensitive to latex, please inform us.
Next, your dentist may use a special hole punch to make holes in the dental dam that allow your crown or crowns being treated to stand out. Using a dental dam creates a clean and dry operating area, retracts your lips and cheeks and allows treatment of your problem teeth without contamination from blood or saliva. Putting on a dental dam typically takes just a few minutes.

Dental Dam
Keeps the treated area dry and free of blood or saliva when placing a filling, so that the adhesive may bond efficiently, making the filling more durable.
Prevents the treated area from being exposed to bacteria in your saliva and oral cavity.
Protects your tongue and gums from irritation that could otherwise occur during treatment.
Prevents the possibility of any materials or chemicals falling into your mouth or being ingested during treatment.
At Crown Dental Clinic, we use dental dams during appropriate procedures, for the protection of all parties involved. It’s just another way we help make your visit stress-free and successful.
